It's already August! Can you believe it?
The 2012-2013 school year is fast approaching and Alumni Affairs is in full swing with events coming up for students and alumni of all ages. Planning is complete and registration for the annual Five Star Festival is well underway. Our Five Star Festival is a weekend celebration designed specifically for alums who have already celebrated their 50th reunion.

Special attention during the Five Star Festival is given to the graduating classes celebrating their 55th and 60th reunions. W&L is excited to have so many gentlemen from the classes of '52 and '57 returning to campus September 13-15th along their spouses and guests. We also encourage interested non-reunion year Five Stars to travel to Lexington for a memorable weekend of food and fun.

Registration is also on-going for both the annual Young Alumni Weekend (Oct. 5-6) and the Summer Send-off celebrations put on by regional alumni chapters.

A popular event for many alumni chapters, Summer Send-offs are a great opportunity for returning students and their parents to welcome families of the incoming Class of 2016. This year over 30 chapters have Send-off events planned so be sure to check out your chapter's profile or the events calendar so you can RSVP.
