In response to concerns raised by a group of law students about the climate for students of color at Washington and Lee, President Kenneth P. Ruscio issued two statements to the University community last month. Senior leadership has met with the students to discuss their concerns.

Thanks to hard work by many W&L staff and alumni volunteer leaders, Alumni Weekend 2014 was a resounding success. Over 650 alumni and a total of over 1,100 people returned to campus. Several days of nerve-wracking torrential rain gave way to clear skies and we were blessed with perfect weather, strong attendance, spirited events and dazzling reunion giving.
